What we do
We handle every phase of kitchen remodeling — from the first design conversation through the final walkthrough. Our crew does the work across all three trades (general contracting, electrical, plumbing) under our own licenses.
Three tiers of kitchen remodeling
Refresh ($15K–$25K · 2–3 weeks) Keep the existing layout and cabinets. New countertops, hardware, backsplash, paint, light fixtures, and possibly new appliances. Best for kitchens with a good layout but dated finishes.
Mid-range remodel ($25K–$50K · 4–6 weeks) New cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, flooring, lighting, and appliances. May include minor layout changes like removing a peninsula or adding an island. Electrical upgrades for modern appliance loads.
Full renovation ($50K–$75K+ · 6–8 weeks) Gut to studs. Layout changes, wall removal, custom cabinetry, relocated plumbing and electrical, new flooring, lighting design, smart home integration. This is where holding all three trade licenses saves you the most time and money.
What’s typically involved
- Cabinetry — Stock, semi-custom, or full custom. We work with local cabinet shops and national brands.
- Countertops — Quartz, granite, butcher block, solid surface. Template, fabricate, install.
- Electrical — Dedicated circuits for range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave. Under-cabinet lighting. Panel capacity assessment.
- Plumbing — Sink relocation, supply and drain rerouting, dishwasher connection, garbage disposal, pot filler installation.
- Layout changes — Wall removal (load-bearing assessment + engineering), island additions, pantry creation.
- Flooring — Tile, LVP, hardwood — removal and installation included.
- Backsplash — Subway tile, mosaic, natural stone, slab.
Why kitchen remodels need a licensed contractor
In North Carolina, kitchen remodels that involve structural changes, electrical work, or plumbing modifications require permits. Permits require licensed contractors. We pull building, electrical, and plumbing permits under our own licenses and handle every inspection.
Doing a kitchen remodel without permits risks:
- Failed home inspection when you sell
- Insurance claim denial if something goes wrong
- Fines from the city or county
- Unsafe wiring or plumbing hidden behind new walls
