What we remodel

We handle every phase of residential remodeling across the Triangle — from the first design conversation through the final walkthrough. Our crew does the work. We don’t sub out to whoever’s available that week.

  • Kitchens — Layout changes, custom cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, lighting, appliance circuits, plumbing relocations
  • Bathrooms — Tub-to-shower conversions, tile work, vanities, accessibility upgrades, ventilation
  • Additions — Room additions, bump-outs, sunrooms, garage conversions
  • Basements — Finishing, egress windows, moisture management, electric and plumbing rough-in
  • Flooring & tile — Hardwood, LVP, ceramic, porcelain — removal, prep, and installation
  • Whole-home renovations — Gut remodels, historic home updates, full-property modernization

Why Peri for remodeling

Most remodeling contractors sub out the electrical and plumbing to whoever answers the phone that week. We hold all three licenses — GC, Electrical, and Plumbing — under one company. That means:

  1. One point of contact. You talk to the same person from estimate through final walkthrough.
  2. No scheduling gaps. We don’t wait on a sub’s schedule to run a circuit or move a drain line.
  3. Accountability. Every trade answers to the same name on the truck and the same license on the wall.

Our process

Every remodel follows the same four steps — no surprises, no scope creep without a conversation.

  1. Tell us about the project. Send photos and a description through our form, or call. We respond within one business day.
  2. Walkthrough and written estimate. We come out, look at the work, and email a detailed quote with line items, materials, timeline, and exclusions.
  3. We do the work. Same crew, every day. Daily cleanup. Updates whenever something needs your decision.
  4. Final walkthrough and warranty. We don’t leave until you’ve signed off. Every job ships with our written workmanship warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Timelines depend on scope. A bathroom refresh takes 2–3 weeks. A full kitchen remodel runs 5–8 weeks. Whole-home renovations can take 3–6 months. We give you a written timeline before work starts and update you if anything shifts.
For most structural, electrical, or plumbing changes in North Carolina — yes. We pull every permit required by Wake County and the City of Raleigh (or whichever municipality applies) and handle all inspections. You never need to visit a permit office.
It varies widely by scope. Bathroom refreshes start around $8K. Kitchen remodels range from $15K to $75K+. Whole-home renovations start around $80K. We give free, in-person estimates with line items — never a ballpark over the phone.
In North Carolina, any project over $30,000 requires a licensed GC. But even below that threshold, a licensed contractor carries proper insurance, pulls permits correctly, and can be held accountable through the NC Licensing Board. Our GC license is NCLBGC #87341 — verifiable online.
